With the Provectus Models management system the team instigates physical precious metal swaps, adjusting the allocation of a client’s physical holdings from one precious metal to another, in order to take advantage of signals provided by the algorithms.
This is conducted in accordance with a client’s specific risk profile. Thus providing our clients with an active portfolio.
Overall returns to clients far exceed those of a static physicalprecious metal holding (after all costs have been stripped out).

Aureus combines specialist skill sets of bullion trading, vaulting specialists, global logistics and information systems.

This provides our clients access to the best market prices direct from long established contracts with refiners, mints and wholesalers globally. Clients also benefit from the overall size of our portfolio, extensive market experience as well as unrivalled analysis and research.

A crucial part of our expertise is in knowing how best to weight our client’s basket of physical precious metals.

We utilize historical price ratios, global supply-demand dynamics, implied volatility and production price cost levels, to determine and exploit the pricing anomalies between the five inextricably linked precious metals mentioned previously.

The algorithms we have exclusively developed, process an enormous volume of data in real time and signal re-weighting opportunities at intervals throughout the year.

These models have been verified, audited and accurately back-tested to 1990 by BDO Global using precious metal price data throughout that period. The algorithms have been successfully back-tested internally to 1968.

Offering a more conservative model, more focused on weighing exposure to the different metals based on their liquidity within global markets. Historically there is an under-performance in the first 2 years compared to Provectus Model 2 but has significantly outperformed the benchmark for gold in the medium to long term. Providing a weighting to more liquid metals can provide our clients more security.
